The new solution has brought both clearer treatment processes and a significantly smoother daily workflow for the plant\u2019s operators.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The delivered EX <span data-teams=\"true\">septic sludge<\/span> reception unit is a complete solution designed for the removal of solid particles such as stones, gravel, screenings, and debris from sludge or water. The system is particularly well-suited for septic sludge handling, acceptance stations for vacuum trucks, or facilities where sludge trucks need direct connection to the reception tank.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Two-stage separation enhances durability and operational reliability<\/h2>\n<p>A key benefit of Hydria Water\u2019s <span data-teams=\"true\">septic sludge<\/span> system is the two-stage separation process that isolates sand, stones, and gravel separately from screenings. This design significantly minimizes water consumption since no wash or rinse water is needed for Hydria Water\u2019s step screen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 The machine concept is engineered to protect the equipment and reduce mechanical wear. First, stones and grit are separated and conveyed to a container. The step screen then removes screenings, which are transported via a wash compactor to a separate container. This two-stage process reduces wear on both the screen and the wash compactor, resulting in a more robust and reliable facility over time, explains Martin Jingn\u00e4s, Sales Representative at Hydria Water.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Smoother workflow for drivers and plant personnel<\/h2>\n<p>As part of the installation, Hydria Water also provided a modern card-reader system for process control and logging of sludge deliveries. Drivers authenticate at the connection point and connect their vehicle. Once the discharge is complete, the received volume is automatically registered.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 The card-reader system has streamlined the entire process. It makes it easier for drivers to follow the correct procedure, and we gain clear, automated traceability. This saves both time and administrative effort. Additionally, a flow meter regulates the discharge rate to prevent blockages caused by excessive load, says Stefan Rosander, Water and Wastewater Technician at Gislaved WWTP.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To support maintenance work, a gantry crane has been installed inside the building. It allows technicians to easily lift components and access all parts of the system.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 This is ideal for our service technicians, who can now access every part of the equipment effortlessly, adds Martin Jingn\u00e4s.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Long-term security through a service agreement<\/h2>\n<p>Hydria Water and Gislaved WWTP have also signed a Trygghetsavtal (Peace-of-Mind Service Agreement). This ensures annual servicing of the system, helping maintain optimal performance over time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Our collaboration with Hydria Water has been smooth from start to finish.
