To further develop and improve our range of sand washers and mechanical screening solutions, Hydria Water has been collaborating with Alpha Solutions, a leader in CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics). The goal of this collaboration was to, through simulation, further improve the processes for screening and washing and to develop a solution which optimizes the water treatment processes of our customers.
Through advanced simulations, precise techniques for fluidization have been developed and implemented within the machines. The result is a new solution for the inlet of the sand washer, completely unique to the market, which increases the efficiency of the process. This upgrade will also be available for all installed sand washers, in the form of a remodeling kit.
