VA Teknik Sweden has a frame agreement with VA Syd covering the municipalities of Burlöv, Eslöv, Lund and Malmö to refurbish, replace and maintenance sludge scraping equipment at the waste water treatment plants Sjölunda, Ellinge, Källby and Klagshamn.
Two rotating sludge scrapers are scheduled for installation in May at Sjölunda WWTP, recently a Picket Fence Thickener and Plastic Chain Operation Drives for several units were installed at Klagshamn WWTP
VA Teknik has previously supplied and installed several sets of Plastic Chain & Flight Sludge Scrapers at Klagshamn WWTP. VA Teknik scrapers are also installed at Ellinge WWTP and Källby WWTP among which Källby will have a further 6 units replaced during the second half of the year.
Sjölunda is one of Swedens biggest waste water treatment plants with a capacity of 550000pe (person equivalents) whilst Klagshamn capacity is 90000pe, Källby 120000pe and Ellinge with 330000pe.
