Scum Pipes
Hydria Water’s scum pipes are perfectly suited for surface removal of floating sludge in sedimentation basins at treatment plants and industry treatment plants, in water treatment in the paper and pulp industry and so on.
Product Description
The scum pipes are made from stainless steel and rotation takes place by way of a motor or a hand lever.
The scum pipes are supported in a plastic bearing and equipped with a rubber seal to prevent leakage. All plastic parts are lubricated naturally by the basin water. If necessary, the scum pipes can be controlled automatically by the scraping system in the basin through the use of a rotation monitor that sends a signal to the overall control system.
